In recognition of his outstanding service and exceptional contribution to the Melbourne Cricket Club’s Bowls section, our team member Manny Galanos has been awarded the prestigious Hans Ebeling Award. This award is not something that you apply for, but rather is bestowed based entirely on merit.

Manny has long been involved with the MCC’s Bowls Section with an impressive list of achievements including:

  • 29 years involvement
  • Played a total of 489 Saturday Pennant games
  • Won 4 Club Triples Championships & 3 Club Fours Championships
  • Awarded Best Lead in the Club for the 2018/19 season.
  • Committee member & Chair 2013-2021
